My friends and I stopped in on a whim this afternoon looking for somthing light. After going over the menu; however, we all ordered the afternoon tea and could not have been happier! Everything was absolutely wonderful, and we had such a lovely time. The sandwiches were excellent! The scones with clotted cream and jam were amazing, and I personally fell in LOVE with the Lemon Drizzle Cake!! Service was lovely and we feel so taken care of. If I could stop back every day of this trip I would absolutely do so, but I bought the recipe book just in case I can't before I go back to the States! An absolute highlight of my day!

Wow, what an experience! We booked around 2 weeks in advance for a party of 7 (including 1 toddler and a baby) which they were perfectly fine to accomodate including providing us with two high chairs. Upon arrival what surprised us is that we were provided with a private room with sofas and a coffee table which couldn't have been better for us given the kids and the need to spread out and have the added privacy. The staff were as proffessional and welcoming as staff can get! They were also incredibly knowledgable about the building providing us with little bits of historical information which was really cool and added to the charm of this age old establishment. Talking of the charm, what really impressed me was how well it was kept given the age of the building whilst also decorated in such a way to take you back in time. The menu was a spectacular selection of various teas / coffees and British culinary delights. The tea selection was something to behold, they had all manner of teas from a classic English Breakfast all the way to an early Harvest White Tea from the farthest reaches of East Asia with some of them having food pairing recommendations. The teas themselves were served in classic chinaware every cup having a different look or size with the tea being brewed in a generously sized pot making £2.85 an abolsute bargain! Foodwise they were more than happy to accomodate for the kids providing a small cup of baked beans and for us we got some Welsh Rarebits, a slide of the Eton Mess (which was the special at the time) and a Ploughmans Platter. All the dishes were immaculately served and presented wonderfully and to be honest at this point I wouldn't havev cared if it tasted crap because everything else was so good up to this point! But of course it all tasted amazing and everything was wolfed down very soon after it arrived! This place gets an easy 10/10 from me. The building, the decor, the staff (who may I add were so enthusiastic and smiling) and the food was the perfect recipe for a perfect place in Warwick. If you're in Warwick whether it be for the castle or otherwise, this place is an abolkuste must to visit, no questions!

We arrived right before closure. We had a lovely table beside a knight statue. There was a written poem dedicated to the knight. The teas were amazing and the scones we delicious. We absolutely loved it.
